We are all aware of the remix version of 'Kannai Nambadhey' which featured in actor-musician GV Prakash's latest release, Enakku Innoru Per Irukku; the original version of the song was popularised by Puratchi Thalaivar MGR. With that number already gathering fans, GVP has switched to Sivaji Ganesan now. The versatile legend's record-breaking Navarathri's album features the song 'Iravinil Aattam, Pagalinil Thookkam'. This song was penned down by poet Kannadasan.

For GV's upcoming Kadavul Irukan Kumaru by director Rajesh, this song from Navarathri has been drawn to be the inspiration. With just the first two lines retained the same, rest of the song carries different lyrics, by Na Muthukumar, sadly who passed away recently. Kadavul Irukkan Kumaru stars GV Prakash, Nikki Galrani, Anandhi, and Thambi Ramiah, among others, and has music by Prakash himself. We hope that this song will turn out to be a fond memory of Na Muthukumar, as well as the yesteryear chartbuster.
