'Needi Naadi Oke Katha' adopts Dogme 95 principles

'Needi Naadi Oke Katha', directed by debutante Venu Udugula, is a one-of-its-kind movie that will be shot on Dogme 95 principles. Starring Sri Vishnu and Satna Titus, the film is produced by Nara Rohith on Aran Media Works.

Briefing about the Dogme 95 rules, the director says, "These rules refuse expensive and spectacular special effects, post production modifications and other technical gimmicks, thereby regulating production costs. They also require that shooting is done only on location without props and sets, sound is produced only from images, the camera is held by hand, special lighting is not used, superficial action is eliminated and so on."

Nara Rohith was inspired to produce the movie when he came to was shown sample scenes shot by adopting the rules.
