Neelakanta, the maker of Mr. Medhavi, is falling back on a genre which he never tried in the past. He is planning to make a youthful entertainer with Varun Sandesh in the lead. Known for psychological stories like Nandanavanam 120 km, Missamma and Show, the director changed tracks with Mr. Medhavi by infusing the love element in the film.

The film went on to become a moderate grosser at the box office thanks to Genelia's presence. This time, however, it is Varun Sandesh who could bail him out.

The film will be produced by DS Rao, who is the producer of Mr. Nokia and the soon-to-be-released Pilla Zamindar. To be launched in November, the film is expected to have an undercurrent of psychological fare as well.
