Actress Shraddha Srinath had been known for her performance in the Vijay Sethupathi, Madhavan starrer Vikram Vedha, and recently she had a release with the Thala Ajith starrer Ner Konda paarvai, which turned out to be a huge success and earned recognition for her performance as well.

The actress has opened up on crimes against women in the society in a recent interview. Shraddha said "There's no awareness about the sexual crimes against women, and many are still thinking only rapes are sexual crimes. Even approaching a woman with a wrong intention is a sexual crime. When such incidents happen, women fear to reach police station, and think of how parents and society will think, and how long the courts will delay the case".

Shraddha further added "When a sexual harassment happens, people must stop asking how did it happen and where did the person touch, and I hope this will change soon. Women have been changing constantly, but views on women aren't. My grandparents had 15 children, my parents had 2 children and I won't be having any child. Nobody must judge me based on my decisions, and only my knowledge and education must be the criteria to judge me".
