In less than few hours most theatres in Tamil Nadu would be tumultuous with nervous energy and happy excitement with die-hard Rajni fans performing milk-pot abhishekams, shouting slogans hailing their 'Super Star' and bursting crackers in joy.

Rajnikanth's Chandramukhi will grace theatres on 14 April (Tamil New Years day). The advance booking began in theatres across Chennai Sunday and within a couple of hours almost all the tickets for the first five days were sold out.

Fans queued up in large numbers and bought their tickets. A festive spirit prevails in theatres where banners , cutouts and huge vinyl hoardings of the movie have found a place.

Fans have gone a step ahead and put a few huge hoardings which is over 20 metres high and 120 metres long in various places at Tiruchy and Madurai to celebrate the release of Chandramukhi.

For producer Ramkumar,Chandramukhi has provided a double-joy. Not just coming up with a movie that sold like a hot cake on the golden jubilee year of Sivaji Productions, but also a movie which helped them renovate their Shanthi Theatre in Chennai and screen the movie, for which all tickets have been booked for a week in advance.

An elated Ramkumar says, the pressure on me is to give a good product to Rajni fans and I can assure that Chandramukhi is one such film. It would be an quality product sure to appease Rajni fans.

They are all waiting.
