Producer CV Kumar has been known for producing several interesting movies in his Thirukumaran Entertainment banner such as Attakathi, Soodhu Kavvum, Pizza, Mundasupatti and launching the careers of directors like Pa Ranjith, Nalan Kumarasamy, Karthik Subbaraj and many others.

CV Kumar had also turned a director and has directed two movies - Sundeep Kishan, Jackie Shroff, Lavanya Tripathi starrer Mayavan and Gangs of Madras starring Sai Priyanka Ruth and Daniel Balaji. The producer has now announced a new movie with an exciting youth appealing title.

CV Kumar is next producing a movie titled BE, which will be directed by debutant Vikie Baskarraj, and the first poster of this movie was released yesterday. This movie will star Ammu Abhirami and Thadam heroine Smruti Venkat in lead roles and will have music by Ghibran.
