Chiyaan Vikram was seen recently on screen in the action thriller Kadaram Kondan directed by Rajesh M Selva, who had earlier directed the Kamal Haasan, Trisha starrer Thoongavanam. The movie was released on July 26, and received fairly good response at the box office.

Also starring Abi Hasan, Akshara Haasan, Vikas and Lena, the movie had music by Ghibran and the movie was produced by Kamal Haasan himself in his Raajkamal films international and Trident Arts. Recently the movie has received a honour.

Director Rajesh M Selva has been awarded the Most Passionate Director award by the Rotary Club of Madras, T Nagar for his work in Kadaram Kondan. The director received the award and said that this was the first award for Kadaram Kondan.
