The new girl in the block is not new to the world of glamour and glitz as she was the winner of Femina Miss India 2004 contest.

Sayali Bhagat who hails from the town of Nasik in Maharashtra started her career in acting as the heroine in a Bollywood film called 'The Train' with Emraan Hashmi which was released in June 8, 2007. The movie was a a remake of the Tamil film 'Pachai Kili Muthucharam'.

She was seen in the Bollywood movie 'Halla Bol' directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi and starring Ajay Devgan and Vidya Balan released in January 11 2008.

After her first movie itself she got noted by the Tollywood film makers who gave her chances in their films.

She acted as the love interest of Allari Naresh in the film 'Blade Babji'

The actress says that although she used to get offers from the Tamil Tinsel Town she was not able to commit to any projects due to call sheet problems.

Sayali says that any way she is now very happy as being cast as the heroine in her first Tamil film "Newtonin 3am Vidhi'.
