The Delhi-girl Nila is fast climbing the ladder of fame in Kollywood. After Anbae Aruyirae, the look-alike of Simran had few offers coming her way. Thanks to a successful outing in Lee, Nila has managed to leave her presence in Kollywood.

The actress, who is known to speak straight from her heart, says, “I don't want myself to be tagged as glamour doll in Tamil cinema. I love to do varied roles quite like Revathy and Saritha”.

Nila is now trying her hands at comedy. In her forthcoming film Marudhamalai, she shares enough scenes with Vadivelu. Arjun plays the lead role in the movie being directed by Suraj and produced by Oscar Films Ravichandran.

“I do some comedy scenes with Vadivelu in Marudhamalai. This is the first time I am doing comedy”, says Nila.

She has got a couple of plump offers in Telugu.
