Kollywood cancels all shootings on March 20

All the film shootings have been cancelled on March 20 on account of 62nd Annual General Body Meeting of the South Indian Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam) to be held on that day. The AGM is going to be held in the Loyola College campus from 2 pm on Sunday. The Sangam's new President Nasser will preside over the event.

This is the first AGM after the new team has taken over the administration of the Sangam after winning the elections conducted in October last. The Tamil Film Producers Council and FEFSI have accepted the Nadigar Sangam's request and they have announced that the shooting of all the Tamil films have been cancelled on that day.

Te family members of legendary Actor P.U.Chinnappa (Late) will be felicitated in the AGM. A special video to mark his centenary year and an audio-visual presentation of Nadigar Sangam's ongoing activities will also be screened. Apart from this a new website for the Nadigar Sangam will be launched. The fully compiled director of the members of Nadigar Sangam will be released.

Vice-President Karunas will submit the Annual report and the audited books of accounts for the year 2014-15. Treasurer Karthi will explain the financial planning and General Secretary Vishal will explain the welfare measures to be instituted by Sangam in the future, Vice-President Ponvanna will render the Vote of Thanks,

All film and drama artists are expected to participate in this event. The Sangam has requested them to carry the membership card without fail.
