Sathyaraj's Mahanadigan has certainly created a controversy.

While Vijayakanth has reacted strongly to the film fraternity being spoofed in the movie, Sathyaraj, who plays the lead role in the movie, is unfazed by the criticism.

He says, "I am not worried about the criticisms that Mahanadigan is drawing. People know about Sathyaraj very well. I have not made fun of anyone intentionally. I did what the script demanded".

But others, including Vijayakanth, are not so convinced. They feel that Sathyaraj has let them down in search of cheap publicity.

But the tall actor is at pains to explain his position. "For instance, I am acting in a movie being penned by DMK president M Karunanidhi, Rajnikanth is my good friend, while Vaiko is one I admire very much. They all have been spoofed in the film. But they have not reacted. I think they took the movie lightly. They all love my lollu".

"At this age, I can only act in movies like Mahandigan which suits my age," he adds. "I will soon play the lead role in a movie based on the life of social reformer and DK founder Thanthai Periyar", Sathyaraj adds.

So stay tuned for controversies, folks.
