Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's highly anticipated film, 'Devara Part 1,' directed by Koratala Siva, has resurfaced in the headlines with a new release date announcement. Initially scheduled for a grand theatrical release on April 5, the film's first part, titled 'Devara: Part 1,' has now been rescheduled. The makers revealed a new poster on Friday, February 15, unveiling that the film will now hit screens on October 10, 2024, coinciding with the auspicious Dusshera festival.

Jr NTR himself took to social media to share the fresh poster of 'Devara' and announce the updated release date, writing, "#Devara Part 1 releasing on 10.10.24 (sic)." Rumors had been circulating that Saif Ali Khan's recent knee and tricep surgery on January 22 might be a factor contributing to the alleged delay in 'Devara.' However, sources closely tied to the project have clarified that Saif's surgery is not the cause for the film's delay. Saif has already completed his filming for the project. Instead, the delay is attributed to the meticulous efforts of the filmmakers in perfecting the VFX and music aspects.

'Devara: Part 1,' written and directed by Koratala Siva, is an action drama featuring Jr NTR in the lead role. The film also marks Janhvi Kapoor's debut in the South Indian film industry. Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain round out the ensemble cast.

Produced jointly by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, the film boasts music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by Rathnavelu and editing by Sreekar Prasad. Expectations are high on the project as this happens to be NTR's first after the sensation he created with his performance in Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR. Already the glimpse got tremendous response from movie lovers across the world. Koratala according to sources is inspired by the rea life incidents for the story.
