Arbutha Theevu to hit the screens this Tamil New Year’s day. Vinayan directs the fantasy film based on the novel Adventures of Travel. Starring Prithviraj and Mallika Kapoor, the movie was initially released in Malayalam. It went on to become a huge hit.

Vinayan took efforts to release the film in Tamil and few portions involving Manivannan and Karunas were shot for the Tamil version. Also Malavika was roped in to appear in an item number.

With Sivaji opting out of the Tamil New Year day release, Vinayan is busy taking strenuous efforts to have it released on 14 April.

Also the success of Mozhi has brought new star status to Prithviraj in Tamil. To cash in his popularity, all efforts are on to release the movie as early as possible.
