ONV's last songs in Vinod Mankara's next

The lyrics last penned by ONV Kurup will be seen in ace writer and film maker Vinod Mankara's next. An emotional Vinod said that his movie will be a tribute to ONV sir. He recalled that ONV had handed over the lyrics to him three days before he died. Handing over the sheaf, ONV had told Vinod that he had poured his life into the songs, explaining how to visualize them and reading out some of them.
The movie is titled 'Kambhoji'. This will be a musical thriller. Jayachandran will compose the songs and he will collaborate with Yesudas, Chitra and Bombay Jayasree for the songs. 'Kambhoji' will star Lakshmi Gopalaswamy and Manoj K Jayan in the lead roles. The movie will be about the love between a Kathakali artiste and a Mohiniyattam danseuse.
