It was two weeks ago, renowned filmmaker Joshiy announced his next project titled ‘Paappan’ featuring Suresh Gopi in the lead. Now, the latest is that the team is planning to kickstart the movie's shoot on March 5th. Reportedly, the movie will be primarily shot in Pala, Erattupetta, and Thodupuzha.

Taking to his social media handle, Suresh Gopi announced the same. “Joshiy, the master craftsman and creator starts calling for shots on March 5th. Suresh Gopi takes the call for shots on March 5th. Pala, Erattupetta, and Thodupuzha. #Paappan starts rolling (sic)!”, he wrote.

Earlier, on February 15, Suresh Gopi unveiled the title poster of the movie. “Box-officinnnnng" #Paappan with the master 'magnum - cine magnum',” Suresh Gopi wrote, while launching the titled poster of ‘Paappan’.

Like the superhit combo, Suresh Gopi-Joshiy's, previous projects such as Lelam and Vazhunoor, the upcoming movie also promises to be a high-voltage mass entertainer with an ensemble cast. The movie's title poster was unveiled recently and fans can't stop going gaga over it.

Directed by Joshiy, 'Paappan' will also feature actors Sunny Wayne, Nyla Usha, Neeta Pillai, and Suresh Gopi's son Gokul Suresh Gopi in prominent roles. The movie will also bring together Suresh Gopi's son Gokul Suresh Gopi for the first time. ‘Paappan’ is written by RJ Shaan, who had earlier co-scripted ‘C/O Saira Banu’.
