After his home production Kudaikul Mazhai, Parthiban, after a brief interval, is back with Pachchakkuthirra hoping to set the cash registers ringing.
Parthiban's new film features top actors like Rajini, Kamal, Vijay, Vikram, Dhanush and Suriya in animated form. Hollywood actor Jackie Chan will make a cameo appearance.
Though Parthiban himself is tightlipped, sources close to him disclosed that Rajini, Kamal in animated form and will appear with Parthiban in a climax scene.
Namitha is to play the heroine opposite Parthiban. Namitha, branded as a glamour queen, will get the opportunity in this film to show that she can act .
Dispelling rumors that Pachchakkuthirra will be another Ulle Veliye, Parthiban says the movie will have glamour and not vulgarity.
Parthiban has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues besides wielding the megaphone. 'I've written songs set to tunes by Sabesh Murali', he adds.
Namitha is all thrilled to be part of the movie for she says it features her in the role of a rustic girl.
'Glamour as well as performance is the underlying idea,' he adds.
Parthiban has planned to contribute a major part of the revenue generated through the cassette sale to the children affected by HIV.
Pachchakkuthirra is the movie for the masses. It will click, says Parthiban.
