Chennai-born American actress and 'Top Chef' host Padma Lakshmi has taken the internet by storm after posting a stunning topless picture on her Instagram page, where she looks absolutely gorgeous and elegant.

Wearing a beige skirt with a yellow garland wrapped around her neck, Padma Lakshmi captioned the picture, "New year, same me." The picture reportedly comes after her strong reaction to women's breasts being censored on social media platforms. She had stated, "I really think that it's kinda bulls**t that Instagram will put little stars or whatever on your nipples (to censor them) but men can go topless left and right. I find that sexist. We're so afraid of female sexuality in its raw and natural form. We're okay with it being siliconed-out and retouched but an actual woman's real body is, I think, one of the most stunning forms in Mother Nature. So what's the big deal?"

Padma Lakshmi is the host of the popular US cooking competition Top Chef and has featured in 'Boom', alongside Amitabh Bachchan and 'The Mistress of Spices' starring Aishwarya Rai.
