'Papanasam' to offer a longer treat to fans

At a time when films with shorter are being preferred, Kamal Haasan starrer 'Papanasam' will be a long film that runs to 180 minutes and 23 seconds. Interestingly the running time of this film is 15 minutes more than the Malayalam film 'Drishyam' from which this has been remade.

The Telugu remake of 'Drishyam' that released last year and became a hit ran roughly up to 145 minutes which was shorter than the original. .

Thriller films are usually slick with short duration, but the team 'Papanasam' seems to have taken up the challenge of keeping up the momentum and thrill for a longer duration. With Kamal Haasan, 'the man of records' at the forefront, nothing is impossible right?
