It takes extreme skill and the tough concentration of a tight-rope walker to make a full-length comedy film. Ravi Babu has taken the courage to make an out and out comedy caper. But his concentration seems to go on and off. In the event, what you have in the hand is a curate's egg --- good in parts.

The story is simple; it is about Bujji (Naresh) and Nani (Shashank), college buddies. They are trapped by a local don for some minor misdemeanor. The duo needs one crore of rupees to save their screen. So they join a software firm (absurdly named Underwear Hardware and Software Company). It is headed by Rajendra Prasad (Brahmanandam). But he is killed and a look-like takes his place. In between, Rajendra Prasad's daughter (Madhu) falls for Bujji. What follows is a series of capers that leads to the unmasking of the killer and the duo's realization that there is never a short cut to the top.

Naresh and Shashank just breeze through their roles. They have played their characters with maturity. Naresh is more spontaneous and breezy. But it is Brahmanandam who is the real hero of the movie. He is a delight to watch. He delivers a standout performance and can be safely said to be his best so far. Madhu as his daughter passes muster. Ravi Babu as a killer is also very good. Venu Madhav as a photographer brings the house down in one scene.

Chakri's music has little to commend for itself. The technical aspects of the film is also just mediocre.

It is so patchy and lacks focus. The fun element, in the event, is reduced to buffoonery in many places. Ravi Babu tries his best as the director. But with lack of direction from the script, the film takes two  steps forward and two backward.

But to attempt such a movie in itself is brave.
