Patient's SMS to 'Vasool Raja, M.B.B.S.'

Kamal Haasan, playing the title role in "Vasool Raja, M.B.B.S.", the Tamil remake of "Munnabhai M.B.B.S.", received a strange SMS on the sets, says a report in Tamil magazine Vannaththirai.
Kamal got the message saying a 40-year-old woman named Anjana Arya had been admitted to the Apollo Hospital, Chennai, as a cancer patient and that she needed transfusion of A-positive blood.
Kamal is reported to have immediately phoned a leader of his fans' association and asked him to arrange for the blood donation. This, says the story, was done within an hour.
In this episode, Kamal has truly played his film role - that of a caring, though unqualified, doctor.
