As is known, Pawan Kalyan took up the cause of those residents of Uddanam who are affected by an as-yet unascertained fatal kidney-related ailment. The Jana Sena Party demanded that the Government of Andhra Pradesh take the issue up as a priority.

Responding to the demands, the Chief Minister himself reached out to the victims by promising to constitute a committee of experts to investigate into the causes of 'Uddanam Nephropathy', besides ensuring the supply of mineral water and institution of more dialysis centres in the affected villages in Srikakulam dist.

With these critical moves, Pawan's demands have been made. This is a victory for his party.
