Gnanarajasekaran’s 'Periyar', starring Sathyaraj, was screened at the International Film Festival in Goa on Monday.

The movie directed by Gnanarajasekaran features Sathyaraj in the role of the rationalist leader.

Sathyaraj’s portrayal of Periyar won him accolades. Kushboo, Jyothirmayee, Chandrasekar also acted in the movie. Thangar Bachchan cranked the camera and Vidyasagar scored the music.

Sathyaraj had been with his family to attend the screening. “It is a great privilege to see my movie being screened at an international festival”, Sathyaraj says.
