While there are incidents of marriages getting called off for bizarre reasons like arguments over food, dowry etc, now a couple in Uttar Pradesh have cancelled their wedding due to conflicting opinion over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As per reports, a businessman from UP was supposed to get married to a woman who is working in government sector. They had reportedly decided to meet at a temple to discuss and decide regarding the arrangements of the wedding.

While it was believed that the talks were happening smooth, one of them started talking about the economic downfall of the country, with the woman saying that Modi was responsible for this and the man being a Modi supporter, the discussion turned into a heated argument and they decided to part ways. The duo conveyed their decision to their families, and have called off the wedding.
