The grand audio and trailer launch of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' is going to happen at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai at 6pm on September 6th. Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be the chief guests for the evening.

The big surprise announcement has come that Kamal Haasan has rendered the voice over for the Tamil trailer of 'Ponniyin Selvan'. Similarly pan Indian stars Anil Kapoor, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Rana Daggubatti have voiced the Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu versions. Poet Jayanth Kaikini has done the same for the Kannada version of the magnum opus.

'Ponniyin Selvan' has music by A.R. Rahman and the ensemble starcast of Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha Krishnan, Jayaram, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Aishwarya Lekhsmi and Prakash Raj among others.
