Popular Tamil actor and director Bose Venkat has taken a political plunge and has bought the candidate application to contest in elections on behalf of DMK party and this sudden decision of the actor has surprised film industry.

Bose Venkat who started his career with Metti Oli serial went on to debut with the movie Eera Nilam went on to act in movies like Sivaji, Ko, Saroja, Kavan, Deepavali etc and had recently debuted as a director with the movie Kanni Maadam.

Now, Bose Venkat has bought the candidate application to contest elections on behalf of DMK party from Aranthangi constituency, and photos of Bose Venkat with the application have turned viral. It has to be seen if DMK will give Bose Venkat an opportunity to contest elections.
