Casa Everz Gmbh who owns the Germany-based footwear brand Von Wellx has reportedly announced shifting the shoe production of more than three million pairs of shoes from China to India with an initial investment of Rs 110 crore.

The company will setup a new manufacturing unit which will have a production capacity of three million pairs in Uttar Pradesh and the company is planning to join hands with Latric Industries Pvt Ltd, and the move is made in association with the state government.

Latric Industries Pvt Ltd Director and CEO Ashish Jain said that the decision to move production units from China to India was made after multiple rounds of discussions and Casa Everz Gmbh finally decided to make the move. Casa Everz Gmbh had two manufacturing units in China.
