28-year-old casting director Krish Kapur, who has worked on movies like Jalebi and Veerey Ki Wedding, passed away on May 31 after suffering a brain hemorrhage.

Krish was found collapsed in his apartment building with excessive bleeding from his nose as a result of the brain hemorrhage. "He died at 2.30 in the afternoon. This has come as a shock to us. He was so young and had no medical history," Krish's maternal uncle reportedly informed a news agency. Sharing a picture of himself with Krish, wrestler and TV fame Sangram Singh posted a condolence message on social media that read, "You left us really soon, brother. But you have left behind beautiful memories. I hope you are happy wherever you are. May your soul rest in peace."

Krish Kapur is survived by his mother, wife and seven-year-old child.
