After starting as a TV news reader and a serial actress, Priya Bhavani Shankar entered into films with Meyaadha Maan and had later starred as one of the leads in Karthi starrer Kadaikutty Singam. The actress had a release recently with the SJ Suryah starrer Monster directed by Nelson Venkatesan.

Monster is running successfully, and Priya Bhavani Shankar has been receiving appreciations for her pretty looks and good performance. Even as she is enjoying the success, she has been irked thanks to a fake ID on social media. A Twitter fake ID operating in her name, posted a tweet thanking fans for the compliments.

Following this tweet from the fake ID, Priya Bhavani Shankar, who was visibly upset and shocked seeing the fake ID behaving like a real ID, tweeted "Dear fake profile! I understand your excitement and responsibility in posting something. But pls don’t make it as your duty to embarrass me in an hourly basis. Thanks but no thanks". Priya Bhavani Shankar is next starring in Kuruthi Aattam, an untitled movie with Arulnithi and Jiiva and few more movies.
