With just a few days to go to Deepavali, no new film is releasing this week too.

There are seven films confirmed for the festival day.

Dharmapuri, Varalaru, Vallavan, E, Vathiyar, Vattaram, among others, are the mainline films in the fray for the Deepavali day.

As ever, before the festival time, the industry has gone into a hiding of sorts with no new releases.

The last important releases were Illavattam and Kedi.

But the leader among the films running is Vettaiyadu Vilaiyadu. Kamal’s restrained histrionics has made the movie the blockbuster of the season.
