Rajamouli, NTR & others celebrate TFIs feat

'Mahanati', 'AWE', 'Chi La Sow' and 'Rangasthalam' have made the Telugu film industry proud by bagging seven National Awards, between them, in different categories. Needless to say, this should give the industry an all-time high.

Reacting to the feat, celebrated director SS Rajamouli said that he is very happy to see Telugu films winning the awards. "Congratulations to the teams of #Mahanati, #Rangasthalam, #Awe & #ChiLaSow for winning at the 66th #NationalFilmAwards," the 'RRR' maker said.

Young Tiger NTR tweeted out, "Telugu cinema is flying high! Congratulations to the teams of #Mahanati, #Rangasthalam, #Awe and #ChiLaSow for winning at the #66thNationalAwards."

Nani is proud that his production, 'AWE', has bagged two awards. "Wall poster cinema team is very proud today. Two national awards for our debut production. What more can we ask for?! Thank you to all our cast and crew. Thank you jury and congratulations to all the award winners," the actor-producer said.

Swapna Cinema is on a cloud nine with 'Mahanati' bagging the Best Telugu Film award. Keerthy Suresh has received Best Actress Award, while Best Costume Design has also gone to the biopic. "An honor to receive these 3 #NationalAwards. It was a wonderful experience for us through this journey and a fitting tribute to Savithri Amma. We really appreciate the love and encouragement," the banner said.
