When Vijayendra Prasad narrated the script of Rajanna, Nagarjuna was easily inspired. This made him launch the film under his production banner (Annapurna Studios), hoping to repeat the success of films like Ninne Pelladata, Manmathudu and Mass (which all consolidated his standing in a significant way). Ask him what inspired him so much about Rajanna and pat comes the reply. Nag found the legend of the character on which the film is based stunning.

He plays a patriotic character in the film. Nag says that the director took four-five real-life incidents during the Freedom Movement and incorporated them amazingly in the film. The ace actor is seemingly blissful about the SS Rajamouli-directed action episodes. (His prophesy is that the climax fight is going to be a highlight).

Throwing some light on the acting talent, the Yuvasamrat said that Baby Yana (who is all of just eight years) has acted superbly well. He is paired with Sneha, who is a talented actress too.

MM Keeravani too came for appreciation.

When Nag says that this is a kind of film that any actor will feel proud and privileged to do, you know what he is saying. The year-end release could well give a success of sorts.

Other actors: Swetha Menon, Nasser, Ajay, Supreet, Pradeep Rawat, Mukesh Rishi, Vijay Kumar, Shravan, Saurabh Dubey, Ravi Kale. Watch out for Suddala Ashok Teja's sharp pen. Cinematography is by Shyam K Naidu.
