The suspense regarding who is going to act as the president of Movie Artists Association (MAA) has come to an end. Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad has won as the president with 85 votes majority over the other candidate Jayasudha.

In total 702 votes, only 392 votes were polled. Probably for the first time ever, the result has been eagerly awaited as the candidates this time took it very seriously and they even took potshots against each other.
