The acquittal of AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa by the Karnataka High Court has brought joy to Kollywood, and greetings are pouring in from top personalities and film bodies.

Superstar Rajinikanth, maestro Ilayaraja, Sarathkumar, Prabhu and others wished Jayalalithaa on her big day, while Tamil Film Producers Council held a special meeting to heap laurels on her for coming out clean from the corruption case.

And the joy knew no bounds for AIADMK actors and actresses, including Anandaraj, Vindhya, Manobala and Gundu Kalyanam, who celebrated Amma's victory in the disproportionate assets case like a festival. People from other walks of life, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have also greeted her.
