It is already well known that Illayathalapathy Vijay`s 'Puli' directed by Chimbudevan and starring Prabhu, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika, Nandita Shwetha and Robo Shankar is released on the 17th of September which is the auspicious day of Vinayaka Chathurthi.

Now it is believed widely that Superstar Rajinikanth`s new age film directed by Attakathi Ranjith will begin shooting in Malaysia from the 18th of September and the team will fly on the 17th. The as yet untitled film stars Attakathi Dinesh, Kalaiarasan and Radhika Apte in pivotal roles while efforts are in full swing to rope in a big name for the role of the all powerful villain opposite Rajinikanth.
