Rajini's 'Petta' to clash with Ajith's 'Viswasam'?

Rajinikanth’s much anticipated is ‘Petta’ which is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Currently, the filming is happening in Uttar Pradesh. It is expected that the filming will be complete in a few more weeks.

Now the buzz is that the makers are planning to release the film for next year’s Pongal festival. However, we know that the release date will be fixed depending on the post-production works. We also have to note here that Rajini’s ‘2.0’ is set for a release on November 29. If this happens, then we’ll be getting yet another Rajini flick in just over a month.

Not to mention that Ajith’s ‘Viswasam’ is set for a Pongal release as well. Hmm, no dearth of competition, that’s for sure.
