The heartthrob of Kannada cinema the sizzling beauty Rakshitha is excited about her performance in the role of a cop in Ravi Srivatsa directed 'Rajiv Gandhi….Alla a film on the life of cops. 'I do lot of shoot outs in the film'. I have pistol on hand and the captivating style of narration of director Ravi Srivatsa has made me so excited says Rakshita speaking to this journalist on the sets of 'Thayiya Madilu'.

In 'Thiyaya Madilu' she is appearing for the first time with superstar Shivarajkumar.

'Ace director S.Narayan was difficult to adjust for two days. Once I got going I am really having good time on the sets of 'Thayiya Madilu'. I have really gone inside this role and this is going to change my image. The change of selection of roles in my career has already taken place. The fans, media and industry have noticed it in Odahuttidavalu and Ninello Naanalle', says Rakshita.

'Meanwhile director Kavitha Lankesh for whom I have finished my work for 'Thananam Thananam' has narrated a powerful subject of a struggling widow. The subject is of national importance and it is difficult to digest for me at this age', says Rakshita.

On her marriage with Prem the bubbly actress has said the preparations are going on. 'Prem has to complete his maiden film as hero 'Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe' and then only marriage', says Rakshita with sense of responsibility.
