Rakul Preet Singh has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress herself made her health status public on Tuesday by taking to her social media pages. She is doing fine and has isolated herself at home.

"I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested," the actress added in her public message.

Going by her message, Rakul is asymptomatic. She has moved between cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad in recent months.

The actress was recently in the news for bagging the Hindi-language film 'Mayday', starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn. The beauty has been shooting for it at Ramoji Film City for a few days now. Months ago, she shot for the untitled movie of Krish Jagarlamudi and 'Uppena' actor Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej.
