Actress Rakul Preet Singh has come forward for a praiseworthy cause. Taking up the cause of women, she is teaming up with The Great Fan for India's largest fitness event. The idea is to raise funds to help rape victims.
On Nov 20 at Gachibowli Stadium, 7 a.m., this fitness event in which 100s of women will participate will be held. "About 34,651 rapes were reported in 2015. We already crossed that number in 2016. Approximately, 93 women get raped on a daily basis as per NCRB data," the organizers say.
Rana Daggubati has tweeted, "A very important initiative by @Rakulpreet please come forward to support."
