After committing Hara-kiri with RAM GOPAL VARMA KI AAG filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma seems to be in his original avatar with his chilling crime thriller KILLING VEERAPPAN, a multilingual project being made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.

The trailer of the film has left star of millennium, Amitabh Bachchan spell bounded. Praising Ram Gopal Verma superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "The trailer of KILLING VEERAPPAN is pretty astounding!!"

Resounding to the compliment of Amitabh Bachchan, with whom Varma has worked in films like SARKAR, NISHABD and RAM GOPAL VARMA KI AAG, Verma in a lighter vain said, "Thank u Sarkar! I think with KILLING VEERAPPAN I really managed to pour some water on my Aag!

Everybody who is watching the trailer is going gaga over the movie`s captivating presentation and its realism. Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh too has praised the trailer. In his tweet he wrote, "What an outstanding promo of KILLING VEERAPPAN. RGV Sir your casting can`t get more real than this."

Truly, the highlight of the movie is its lead actor Sandeep Bharadwaj, who plays Veerappan as he has striking similarity with the original dacoit. On being quizzed from where Verma discovered such a close looking actor Verma smiles, he says, "Actually Sandeep has no resemblance to Veerappan but real credit must go to my makeup artiste Vikram Gaekwad who transformed Sandeep into Veerappan."

"However Sandeep deserves kudos for executing such a powerful performance. Sandeep is an aspiring youth from National School of Drama (NDA). After rejecting many actors I finally selected him to play the role of the sandalwood smuggler," Verma informed.

The other major highlight of the film is that Verma has cleverly roped in Superstar Rajkumar`s son Shivrajkumar to play the chief officer to hunt down Veerappan in the film. It may be remembered Kannada superstar Rajkumar, who was abducted by Veerappan.

Verma says, "The prime reason to cast actor Rajkumar`s son Shivrajkumar was to create casting coup aspect, primarily because the real-life villain is being killed by the reel-life hero.
