Ram Gopal Varma has wrapped up 'Not A Love Story' and would now be beginning 'Department' very soon. The film would also see the second coming of Rana Daggubati who was first seen in 'Dum Maaro Dum' and has now replaced Abhishek Bachchan in this cop saga. Now one wonders what kind of characterisation can one expect for Rana here. Is it going to be flamboyant so that it suits his towering personality?

Says Ramu after a brief pause, "I won't say that it is flamboyant but yes, it would be far more intense for sure. See, since he comes from Andhra Pradesh and has done a couple of Telugu films, I know him a little. When I met him in real life, I thought that his presence was quite strong. His looks and personality are tremendous and he is very ideal for the role. I just called him and told the story. He was game for it there and then and was formally roped in."

However not everyone can be expected to bear similar sentiments though. Ever since the announcement around the replacement came in, there have been numerous theories. So much so that even Amitabh Bachchan's presence in the film was contested with many claiming that he had chosen to walk out from 'Department' post his son's exit, something that Ramu denied vehemently.

"No one can stop people from talking," Ramu says while throwing his hands in air, "I am busy with my work and I hope others to do the same. I already have combination dates from other actors, including Sanjay and Kangna. I am through with 'Not A Love Story' and it's time to move on to 'Department".
