The latest rumour doing the rounds is that Krishna Vamsi will be doing a film with Rana Daggubati.

For the past few weeks, the director has been actively answering his fans' questions on Twitter. Only a few weeks back, the 'Nakshatram' director said that 'Raithu' will be happening in 2018. One has to stretch the imagination to believe that either KV will be doing more than one film this year or 'Raithu' will necessarily star Rana.

If the Rana-KV film is not a false rumour, then 'Raithu' might have been put on the backburner. But it's unlikely that something dramatic has happened in a matter of a few weeks to make KV drop the idea of making 'Raithu' this year.

He has been saying that the details of his next movie will be revealed soon. When a fan asked him as to with whom it will be, the director recently said, "That will be with ME only."
