Rana's 'Raja Kireedam' hits this Friday

The Malayalam version of Rana Daggubati's 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' will hit the screens this Friday as 'Raja Kireedam'.

Released in Telugu in August, the semi-political, intense family drama went on to become a hit, rejuvenating Teja's career in a big way. Since then, the film has also been released in Tamil.

The actor was recently in the news for going beardless in a long, long time!

He is currently shooting for a film titled '1945', which chronicles a "story that blooms in the turbulent time when Subhash Chandra Bose was believed to be dead." Also starring Regina Cassandra and Nasser, the period drama has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

After the death of Bose, the members of Indian National Army were leaderless, but large sections of the country, after the end of World War-II, rallied behind INA when many of its nationalistic soldiers who were booked for various offences by the British.
