DID YOU KNOW: The upcoming Shahid Kapoor-Saif Ali Khan-Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Rangoon', is the first film to have shot extensively in Arunachal Pradesh...?

We were told that it is a big coup for the makers - producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bhardwaj - to have gotten permission to shoot the film there as it is also very difficult to visit Arunachal Pradesh. The makers were very keen to shoot there as the place was just appropriate for the script. The beauty and calmness of the place is something that the director has beautifully captured.

Sajid Nadiadwala is known to go all out to make available any resources required by the films he works on and he has done that this time too with 'Rangoon'. It was not an easy task to acquire permission to shoot so extensively there but they managed. The team fell in love with the beauty of the place and they are all very happy that this could happen.

Both the ace film makers have collaborated their creative forces for Rangoon which is a Saif-Shahid-Kangana musical film, set against the backdrop of World War II. Sajid and Vishal are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that this is one of the most ambitious Indian movies that the world has ever seen. The film is all set to release on October 14, 2016.
