Before finalizing 'Touch Chesi Choodu' and 'Raja The Great', Ravi Teja had heard a number of scripts. The Tamil movie 'Kanithan' was one among them. The film didn't come through.

As per a media report, the project is going to be revived. Nikhil Siddharth may well step into Mass Maharaja's shoes.

After 'Kesava', this is going to be yet another action thriller for the young actor. How far Nikhil can reprise Atharvaa well is to be seen. 'Kesava' didn't have action of the kind we see in a mainstream actioner. 'Kanithan' has to be adapted to suit Telugu nativity.
