It's not often that a Telugu movie character gets to be described as a 'Badass', a bewitching one at that. Regina Cassandra has been introduced as one by the makers of 'Awe', who expect us to be awe-struck by her image makeover!
Prominently tattooed, the actress is seen wearing a stark nose-ring. Making her eyes sharp, she comes with a not-so-benign looking hair-do that is often seen only in Holly and Bolly movies.
In the Nani-produced 'Awe', which also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menon, Avasarala Srinivas, Priyadarshi, Eesha Rebba, Murali Sharma, Rohini and Devadarshini Sukumaran, Regina definitely has a surprise character.
Directed by debutante Prasanth Varma, the film comes with the caption, 'Prapancham lo nenu. Naa loni prapancham'. Ravi Teja and Nani are lending voice-overs. The cinematography is by Karthik Gattamaneni. Sahi Suresh is the art director. Goutham Nerusu is the editor. It hits the screens in February.
