Malayalam actor Mammotty has been well known among Tamil audience too and has acted in some well known movies like Azhagan, Mounam Sammatham, Kandukonden Kandukonden, Anandham, Thalapathi and was seen this year in director Ram's Peranbu.

Now the senior actor is all set to make a return to Tamil, with his multilingual movie Mamangam. Directed by M Padmakumar, Mamangam is a big budget historical which is based on the Mamangam festival of the 18th century and about warriors who fought Zamorin rulers.

Mamangam has been announced to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi as well other than Malayalam and will be released on November 21. The movie also stars Unni Mukundan and Prachi Tehlan, and the Tamil version of the teaser was released recently.
