The first look of 'Remo' was released yesterday in Hyderabad. The event was held in a hotel and the same was attended by the film's cast and crew members, besides the producer Dil Raju. Vamsi Paidipally and Anil Ravipudi were among the guests.

Vamsi Paidipally said, "I can understand how difficult it must have been for the director to project Sivakarthikeyan as a woman. 'Remo' is proof that when talented people team up, the product will be great. This film is a good launch pad for the hero, whose films are awaited hugely in Tamil Nadu."

Anil Ravipudi said, "Dil Raju has been on a success-giving spree. I wish this film will be a big hit. So far, the fastest-growing Kollywood hero Sivakarthikeyan's movies have been remade into Telugu. For the first time, his film has been dubbed. When I first saw the get-up, I thought it's some heroine. The look suited him so much."

Dil Raju said, "I have so far made 25 movies and none of them is a remake. But when I first saw the trailer of 'Remo', I felt like remaking it in Telugu. When I watched its preview exclusively for me, I enjoyed it totally. But since I don't know the language, I watched it in a theatre with the audience. Seeing how they enjoyed the movie, my faith in the project went up. In the past, I got a hit when I produced 'Vaishali' upon Shankar's prompting. I scored another hit with 'OK Bangaram' upon Mani Ratnam's prompting. This time, it's because of Raja garu. The hero has done a role with three variations. PC Sreeram's cinematography and Aniruddh's music are pillars. It's not a joke that this one collected about Rs. 65-70 cr in Tamil."

Sivakarthikeyan said, "I thank Dil Raju garu for releasing 'Remo' in Telugu. I like his production 'Bommarillu' a lot. I feel very honoured to debut in Telugu with him as the producer. It's very exciting. I am seeing this as a test. But since the teacher is Dil Raju garu, I am sure of getting success."

PC Sreeram said, "Telugu and Tamil cinema are like two eyes for me. I have a very good association with these industries. Films I did in Telugu got dubbed into Tamil in the past. Vice-versa is also true."

Director Bakkiyaraj Kannan said, "My very first film has become a big hit in Tamil. I thank all those who have been partners in my success. 'Remo' is releasing as my debut film in Telugu. I am very happy."

Aniruddh said, "I hope this film will be a good launch for me in Telugu. Sivakarthikeyan needs the audience's blessings here. I hope the songs will become a big hit."
