Looks like election season and Ram Gopal Varma are made for each other. Come 2023, the election fever will grip Andhra Pradesh politics, with the ruling YCP wanting to retain power. On the other hand, the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP trio, either separately or in unison, will want to dislodge Jagan.

RGV will burst forth onto the political scene in his own small way by dishing out two back-to-back politically loaded films: 'Vyuham' and 'Sapatham'. The filmmaker, known for building narratives on controversies, will be back in demand from those who found his 'Lakshmi's NTR' and 'Amma Rajyamlo Kadapa Biddalu' unbiased.

RGV has described the 'Vyuham' and 'Sapatham' as real-pics (whatever the term means). They will be released one after another as related movies weeks or months apart in late 2023 or early 2024. On the other hand, those who have followed him over the years are convinced that they are going to be propaganda movies made to serve Jagan's political interests.

"Varma made the announcement just a day after his reported meeting with Jagan. He didn't deny meeting with the Chief Minister of AP. Everything points towards the recommencement of agenda-driven cinema," a Facebook user wrote.
