It has been some time since we wrote about Sriya.
She is arguably the number one heroine in Tollywood. She has acted with all the top names in the industry. And she continues to act with them.
She is also a regular face in the ads and she has acted in a couple of films in Bollywood, too.
So what is new about her?
Well, the information is that the reedy Sriya has been roped to play the lead in the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Varsham.
S P Charan has bought the film's rights. He was looking for the right heroine before going ahead with the project.
But after a lot of brainstorming sessions with friends and industry hands, the production team has decided to play Sriya in the film.
Sriya, sources say, is indeed happy to be make her debut in Tamil.
Sriya, a bubbly actress, will find working in Tamil a pleasurable experience.
In Varsham, Trisha cut such a fine figure that she is now rising to the top in Telugu. Perhaps that might happen to Sriya in Tamil.
