S.P. Balasubrahmanyam the legendary playback singer who is under treatment for COVID 19 from August 5th is said to be in an extremely serious condition. The MGM hospital where he is being treated has confirmed that the 74-year old's condition deteriorated drastically over the past twenty-four hours and he is now on full life support.

Only a few days back SPB's son SPB Charan updated that his father is in good spirits and in stable condition eager to get home from the hospital. Celebrities including Devi Sri Prasad have urged the public to pray for the speedy recovery of the much-loved entertainer.
